Project history movie
Why early school leaving?
Early school leaving is quite common in European countries, and its rate can vary between the 10% and 30% of students attending primary or lower secondary school. It is thus very important to raise awareness about this issue, and to build a European network to act on it.
How to build rapport
Rapport will deal with early school leaving by adopting an innovative approach, whose pivotal element is the relationship between schools and people with different experiences with respect to possible educational paths.
Videos and interviews will make it possible to bring the experience of these people into schools, in order to develop an innovative, visual language, which can engage and influence young students.
All materials and resources produced by Rapport project and partnership will be uploaded and made available on this website.
Teachers and trainers will thus have a further tool to be added to their teaching methods and integrated in their teaching programmes.
Public authorities, decision makers and policy makers will be aware of an important international initiative aimed at fighting early school leaving: a precious recource for activities and strategies dealing with this issue both at national and international level.
